For more than 35 years, Pryson & Petrone have been writing and recording timeless and poignant songs dealing with the issues of our day, both then and now. They met under less than ideal circumstances, essentially outcasts from society, finding themselves as wards of the state working on Bobo's Farm on the outskirts of a small Southeastern Virginia town.

Through the trials and tribulations that life has hurled at them, they have maintained a close personal and professional friendship despite the 900 mile difference in their geography and the ever-changing familial and political landscapes.

From their first cassette release titled "Get Used To Me" in 1988, to the eye-opening post-911 CD titled "30 Years in the Hole", Pryson & Petrone have culminated in song, their long years of listening and watching this spiraling down of the human condition brought to bear on us all by the unseen shadow forces and governments run amok with power.

As the liner notes read from "30 Years in the Hole":

"30 Years in the Hole is a culmination of work from two diverse individuals, Chad Pryson and Tony Petrone, who discovered three decades ago that they had plenty to say about the world around them.

From New England to Tennessee, the regional differences have melted down into what can only be described as a blend of New York City jazz and blues influences with a Southern backbeat. Their drive and zealous need to return to a time when the message was loud and clear is certainly at the forefront when listening to these two veteran artists ply their craft...."
